Ever had one of those days where you spend a lot of time doing something that didn't really need to be done--or at least not so quickly? Purely in the interest of avoiding doing the thing which is hateful to you though very important and possibly behind schedule?
Today was one of those days and I'm afraid this is one of those weeks. I have an informal deadline (real deadline is: immediately). So instead of working on the very important yet horrifying report that I should have finished last week, I spent a lot of time rounding up contact information by cross-referencing a spreadsheet with internet searching. Surely, my skills were wasted on this task, yet I could not stop myself.
Moral of the story: better to do some work than read blogs all day.
Grateful for: time.
