Day 4: Yoga

I'm going to have to come up with a better title convention because this "Day X" business is going to get old fast. Then again, who is reading that actually cares? Anyway. I had a rather shople start today. I did a whole lot of nothing this morning. I intended to get to the yoga first thing, but I was pretty hungry and I need to leave at least and hour between eating and yoga.  So, I puttered, made breakfast and coffee, watched some tv/movies and did my knitting. (I'm making great progress on my latest cardigan but I'm positive I will run out of yarn before finishing--I was sure I'd bought enough so it's a bit frustrating. I will wait until I get closer to the end before I buy more since I'm not sure how much more yarn I'll need.) A friend chatted me up on facebook...the day was wasting away...but finally, I tore myself away from my other occupations and did the damn yoga dvd. And, absolutely, I feel better for it. I sure have a long way to go, fitness-wise.

Yesterday, my day was mellow. I got up early (yoga), ran some errands, including grocery shopping. I ate lunch ate home and then noticed my neighbor was preparing for an enormous party in our backyard/alley.  Unfortunately, I couldn't go because I'd promised TR that I would babysit. While babysitting wasn't exciting, I like his kids and it was a perfectly pleasant evening. By the time I got home, the party was over--and I'd had such hopes! Oh well, you can't win 'em all.

I had some hopes of leaving the house today but it's gone all dark and stormy outside so I'm not so sure I will.  How does this happen? At least this time, though, I moved my body a bit, so that's something.

Grateful for: staying on track.
