That reminds me of how my roommate's kitten used to climb up onto the porch roof and meow on the open but screened outside window sill right near my pillow at 8:00 in the morning. That was pretty unacceptable to me in those days because I kept really late hours and eventually I had to start keeping a squirt gun on my nightstand.
