Better late than never?

I'm sorry I haven't written about the end of my trip sooner. The journey home was brutal, though I recovered fairly quickly. I have fallen back to the normal routine easily. Work, good and annoying. Cat, friendly and fussy. Knitting—massive amount planned, lots of progress made. A lot of tv to catch up on. Still need to see some friends, though that is happening more slowly, it is happening. I am happy to keep to myself, keep calm and quiet as much as possible. Though football practice and helping with a minor move this weekend made that more challenging.

I did manage to upload some video I took on my trip. I haven't managed to get it onto my mac, but it's on this little windows machine I'm using. I would like to share two emblematic videos. The first is our friend and neighbor in Israel, Yanki, performing a song while on stilts. I videoed the entire song, which breaks the three minute mark, but I've cut it down so you can get a taste of it.

The second video is of my absolutely charming 8-month-old, independent, crawling, great-niece.

Grateful for: amusing friends and family.
