Baby knitting

A quick hit since I'm still under the weather. I'm drinking a hot toddy at my mother's recommendation. We just got off the phone and I was coughing like a fiend. Mostly because I'd just finished up a talk with my dad. I think the toddy is helping, though. Heh.

Also, I got my mom a Wii and Wii fit for her birthday. She kept talking about getting one but I knew she'd never do it. So I did it! But the Wii arrived first so she left me a message where she was starting to look for the "fit" component. Whoops. We had a conversation that went something like this.

Me: All I can say is, don't buy a Wii Fit.
Mom: Why not?
Me: Just don't buy one.
Mom: What?
Me: Don't buy a Wii Fit!
Mom: Um, ok.

Yesterday, I knit these baby "slippers" for my newest great-nephew. Pretty cute, huh?

Tabitha isn't so sure they're a good idea.

Grateful for: quick projects.

  2. We have a Wii, which we've never taken out of the box. How much is the Fit part? Maybe that would motivate me to do something with this thing we actually won as a door prize!

  3. Barbara: I encourage you to take it out of the box and try it out. My mom was having great fun with the games on the Wii before even getting the fit component. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy and fun they are. (But if you don't want to keep it, I'll be happy to take it off your hands. ;)
